About
Wild Sky Rising was created as an expression of empowerment, intuition, and freedom.
Every piece—whether jewelry or wearable art—is designed to help you reconnect with yourself. This work is not about dressing to meet expectations, impress others, or fit into what is considered “normal.” It is about wearing what feels right to you. About honoring your inner voice. About choosing authenticity over approval.
These pieces are meant to be worn as reminders of your own strength, power, and purpose. They invite you to listen inward—to your intuition rather than the pressures of society—and to trust yourself even when that path looks unconventional.
Not everyone will like or understand this work. Some may think a piece is “too big,” “too bold,” or “a bit strange.” That response is not a flaw—it’s part of the intention. These designs tend to provoke strong reactions because they are genuine. In a judgmental world that often rewards conformity, authenticity takes courage. Each piece reflects and amplifies that courage.
At the heart of this brand is a deep commitment to pushing boundaries and questioning social norms. The designs are intentionally unconventional. They are not created to follow trends or to blend in. They exist as quiet acts of rebellion—encouraging you to trust yourself, express your individuality, and live in alignment with your own inner truth.
The Process
Every piece is created intuitively. I do not work from patterns or pre-planned designs, as every stone and every garment has its own unique character. I begin each project with only a vague idea of what it might become, and the final result almost always differs from what I imagined. The design reveals itself as I go.
I only create when I feel calm, grounded, and centered. I pour a great deal of my own energy into every piece, and because of that, the energetic quality of the work is just as important to me as its physical appearance—if not more so. From selecting a stone or garment, to designing and constructing the piece, to packaging it for its future owner, each step is approached with intention, openness, and care.
While energy is always shifting, I believe it matters deeply to move through the entire creation process from a grounded place. What you receive is not just an object, but something that has been shaped slowly, consciously, and with presence.
How to Wear the Work
These pieces are not meant to be worn to please or impress anyone else. They are about you and how they make you feel.
Wear them while relaxing at home.
Wear them while hiking in the woods.
Wear them to a birthday party.
There are no rules.
Let your intuition guide you toward the piece that feels right. And if you don’t see what you’re looking for, you’re always welcome to reach out—we can design something together.
My Story
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I was born into a family of artists, and creativity has always been woven into my life.
My passion for jewelry began in childhood—making friendship bracelets at summer camp and working with beading kits meant for kids. As a teenager, I began altering and designing clothing, especially repurposing old garments or pieces that didn’t fit. That remains one of my favorite forms of art to this day.
After college, I spent two and a half years traveling through South America, making and selling jewelry to support myself along the way. I learned the techniques I still use today from other artisans—people selling their work in plazas, on sidewalks, and along roadsides. Those years shaped not only my skills, but my philosophy around handmade work, community, and creative freedom.
After spending much of my twenties traveling, I became a third-grade teacher in San Diego. After four years in the classroom, I made the decision to leave teaching and pursue my artistic passions full-time.
Wild Sky Rising was born from that leap—a dream of freedom, an embodiment of passion and authenticity, and a willingness to take a risk in order to live a more aligned life.
This brand is for those who feel called to stand out, to trust their intuition, and to express themselves without apology.
You don’t have to be normal.
You don’t have to follow the rules.
You don’t have to explain yourself.
Be yourself. Trust your intuition. Wear your power.
